MicroSurvey is intended to be deployed along side new application features in order to garner simple, rapid feedback. Here is an example of what it does:

Let's say you've had an application running for a while. You decide to change the location of the login box, or the way that passwords are retrieved, or you've added a new search box. How do you know if your users appreciate the change?

MicroSurvey will drop a tiny animated icon on the page next to your newly added/changed feature. If the user chooses to hover over that icon, a tiny AJAX window will pop up asking for two things: 1) a star rating, and 2) a brief comment. When the user clicks submit the results are recorded in your DB, the window is closed, and the icon disappears from your site.

After setup, you can deploy MicroSurvey with a single line of code.
